Grants for Schools and Community Projects

The 2020 Grant Program was suspended, and Grants in 2021 may come later in the year. We are waiting until the pandemic settles and people are able to focus on grant ideas and grant-writing.
If you are a school or work with children, look for your letter in the mail (unless we find an electronic method of delivery for your school) using the instructions below.

The process:

Anyone in Franklin County who works with children in projects that involve gardening, plant science, ecology, or any related subject matter may submit a proposal to the Greenfield Garden Club. The proposal should not exceed 3 pages in length, and must include:

1. the project title, name of person submitting, contact information, and school or organization.
2. Details about the project including details of how it will be accomplished.
3. Number of children/students, or community members that will directly benefit from this project.
4. What the project will cost and whether or not funding from other sources is being sought.

2020 DEADLINE IS MIDNIGHT, SUNDAY, March 15th. NO LATE PROPOSALS WILL BE READ!

Mail or email your proposal to Laura Schlaikjer, Greenfield Garden Club, PO Box 309. Greenfield, MA 01302-0309 or email to:
greenfieldgardenclub@yahoo.com
Hand-delivered submissions will not be accepted.
